About us
Current books, not a January reconstruction
Who we are, how we work and why this practice is set up the way it is.
Current books, not a January reconstruction
Most small businesses do not have a bookkeeping problem in January. They have one all year, and it only becomes visible in January. This practice keeps the books current month by month.
How we got here
Every client has a named bookkeeper and a close date. The month is closed by the tenth, so the numbers are worth looking at while they still describe something you can change.
WHAT WE DO
The work in one view
Monthly bookkeeping
Transactions coded, accounts reconciled and the month closed on a set date.
Accounts payable
Bills captured, approved and paid on your schedule.
Accounts receivable
Invoices raised and chased, so cash arrives closer to when it was earned.
Bank reconciliation
Every account tied out monthly, with differences explained not carried.
Management reports
A short monthly pack that says what happened and what it means.
“A short quote from a happy client belongs here. Two or three sentences is usually enough to make the point without losing the reader.
